Graduation 2017

Sewanee's environmental programs graduated 64 students across our six majors this past Sunday, and we also bid farewell to long-time Geology Professor Dr. Steve Shaver.  Our former students are headed off to a variety of jobs including federal firefighting positions in Colorado, a Fulbright scholarship in Malaysia, Peace Corps in Ethiopia, environmental consulting in Atlanta, and working for the Carter Center in Uganda (to name a few). A smaller number are headed to graduate school this fall at the Colorado School of Mines and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (CA).
